I have tasted a lot of chicken salad but this one will always be my favourite! My Grandma taught me this recipe and I am so grateful to her for doing so because it is just pure love! I loved eating this growing up. It is probably the reason why I love eating vegetables to this day. Thanks, Grandma! Oh, man, I’m telling you, you have got to give this one a try! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! By the way, make sure to refrigerate it first for the best result! I don’t like room-temperature salad and I am sure you don’t either. Anyway, don’t forget to share this great recipe with your loved ones. Have a beautiful day, friends, and I hope you are all well today. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Dressing:
1 c Mayonnaise (6ounces by scale weight)
½ c Sour Cream (4ounces by scale weight)
2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard (1ounces by scale weight)
1 tablespoon Dill Weed
2 teaspoons Sugar
½ teaspoons White Pepper
5 teaspoons Lemon Juice
Salad:
3 c chopped Poached Chicken
1 c finely chopped Celery
4 tablespoons finely chopped Green Onions
2 c shelled Sunflower Seeds
Directions:
In a medium mixing bowl, add sour cream, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, white pepper, and sugar. Stir until well combined.
Allow the poached chicken to cool completely at room temperature.
Slice the chicken into small cuts.
Add the chicken slices into the bowl with the dressing as well as the green onions, sunflower seeds, and celery. Toss everything until well combined.
Place it inside the fridge to chill for about 2 hours.
Serve and enjoy!
