This Chicken Parmesan-Stuffed Garlic Bread is just pure joy! Oh, man, give it a try and you are so in for a treat!
Ingredients:
1 boneless, skinless chicken breast
2 c flour (250 g)
4 Eggs, beaten
2 c seasoned breadcrumb (230 g)
1 c of oil (240 mL), for frying
1 large baguette
10 slices mozzarella cheese
marinara sauce
GARLIC BUTTER:
⅓ c butter (75 g), melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
Step 1: Slice into about ½-inch-thick chicken breast.
Step 2: In a small mixing bowl, add the flour.
Step 3: In another mixing bowl, add the eggs.
Step 4: In the third mixing bowl, add the bread crumbs.
Step 5: Coat the chicken strips into the flour, then into the egg, and into the bread crumbs.
Step 6: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 7: Place a pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium heat.
Step 8: Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 9: Add the chicken strips and fry each side until golden brown.
Step 10: Place the fried chicken strips onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Step 11: Cut the baguette into four.
Step 12: Remove the inner part of the bread and put two mozzarella slices over each other.
Step 13: Top the overlapping part with a chicken strip and tightly seal the mozzarella all over the chicken.
Step 14: Move the towards the baguette the chicken strips.
Step 15: Slice the prepared baguette to about 1-inch cuts.
Step 16: Arrange them onto a lined baking sheet.
Step 17: Add all the ingredients for the garlic butter in a small mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
Step 18: Brush each baguette slice with the garlic butter.
Step 19: Wrap the baguette with foil, then place them inside the preheated oven. Bake for about 25 minutes or until done.
Step 20: Remove from the oven as well as the foil.
Step 21: Serve with marinara sauce. Enjoy!
