This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was little. My grandpa used to cook this for us all the time! This Chicken Cordon Bleu Rice Bake is so easy to cook. In less than an hour, you can enjoy a delicious meal! I am so grateful to pops for giving me this recipe because now, I get to share it with you which is so awesome! Ingredients:
1½ c chopped cooked chicken
8 ounces diced ham
2 c instant white rice
2 c water
1 c shredded Swiss cheese
1 (10.75 ounces) can Cream of Chicken Soup
½ c milk or water
1 (8 ounces) container sour cream
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Place a saucepan with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add the rice and cover the pan. Remove from the heat and allow the rice to sit for about 5 minutes.
Add ham, chicken soup, chicken, cooked rice, milk, Swiss cheese, and sour cream into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until the cheese has melted completely.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
