Ingredients:
Chicken Breasts
4 garlic cloves minced
6 ounces sun-dried tomatoes in oil in a jar
Salt
2 tbsp olive oil either from the jar of sun-dried tomatoes, or just use olive oil
¼ teaspoon paprika
2 pounds of chicken breasts
Large halved horizontally
Cream Sauce:
1 c heavy cream
1 c milk
1 c mozzarella cheese shredded
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp dried basil
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes at least, add more to taste
8 strips bacon cooked and crumbled
Directions:
Step 1: Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 2: Add in the sun-dried tomatoes and garlic. Saute for 1 minute or until the garlic is aromatic.
Step 3: Remove the sun-dried tomatoes and garlic. Set aside.
Step 4: Add in the seasoned chicken and cook for 5 minutes on each side until brown.
Step 5: Cover the pan and remove it from the heat. Allow the chicken to cook more.
Step 6: Place the chicken on a clean plate and discard the juices from the pan.
Step 7: In the same pan, add in 1 cup of heavy cream and allow it to boil.
Step 8: Reduce the heat and add in 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Allow it to simmer until the cheese has melted completely.
Step 9: Whisk in milk until smooth.
Step 10: Put the garlic and sun-dried tomatoes back into the pan.
Step 11: Add in the crushed red pepper and garlic. Stir until well combined.
Step 12: Add in the chicken and toss until well combined.
Step 13: Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top and allow the mixture to become warm.
Step 14: Serve and enjoy!
