Ingredients:
1 Egg beaten
1-pound boneless skinless chicken breasts cooked and shredded
½ cup shredded Romano Cheese
½ cup shredded Parmesan Cheese
30 Large Pasta Shells
15 ounces jar garlic Alfredo sauce
1 ½ cups cottage cheese
Fresh parsley for garnish if desired
1 cup freshly grated Mozzarella Cheese
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Place a large pot with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add the shells and cook until al dente. Drain and use paper towels to pat them dry.
Add the Parmesan cheese, Romano cheese, and Mozzarella cheese into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed. Reserve about ½ cup for later use.
Add egg, cottage cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Add in the chicken and stir again until well combined.
Add 1 cup of Alfredo sauce into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Stuff each shell with the chicken mixture.
Arrange the stuffed shells into the prepared baking pan. Make sure to leave a small space between each stuffed shell to prevent them from sticking.
Sprinkle the reserved cheese mixture on top of the shells.
Put them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese turns golden brown.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top to garnish.
Serve and enjoy!
