Ingredients:
8 oz. brick of Mild Cheddar Cheese, grated
½ c milk
7 Eggs
1 lb. Italian Sausage, cooked
1 yellow onion, chopped, sauteed in sausage grease
Salt & Pepper, to taste
20 oz. bag frozen Diced Hash Browns
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add the sausage, then cook until crumbly and brown.
Add the onion and sauté until soft. Remove the skillet from the stove.
Transfer the sausage mixture into a mixing bowl, then add the rest of the ingredients. Stir everything until well blended.
Transfer the content of the bowl into the prepared casserole dish and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 35 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven, then sprinkle a generous amount of cheese on top.
Bake for a few more minutes or until the cheese is melted completely.
Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
