1 yellow onion, chopped
½ chopped green pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon of salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
Directions:
Place a frying pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the minced beef, then cook for about 5 minutes or until brown.
Season the beef with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well blended. Transfer the mixture onto a clean plate.
In the same skillet, add butter and allow it to melt.
Add the peppers and onion, then sauté for about 5 minutes or until soft and a bit caramelized.
Put the beef mixture back into the pan, then stir until well blended. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the mixture to cool completely.
Place the egg rolls onto a clean cutting board.
Add ½ slice of American cheese in the middle of each roll.
Add about 3 tbsp of the filling over each egg roll, then fold the corners and sides. Wet the edges with your finger to seal.
Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add 1-inch of oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the egg rolls about 3 of them, then fry for about 3 or 4 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Repeat these steps with the remaining egg rolls.
Serve and enjoy!
