Ingredients:
(1) 32 ounces bag of tater tots
½ onion (chopped)
2 pounds ground beef
8 ounces shredded Monterey jack cheese
8 ounces shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 tbsp steak seasoning
⅛ c Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
Directions:
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown.
Add the onions, then sauté until translucent.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle a generous amount of Monterey Jack cheese on top of the ground beef mixture.
Arrange a layer of tater tots on top of the casserole.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Put it back inside the oven and bake for a few more minutes until the cheese has melted completely.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
