I will never get tired of recommending this recipe! This Cabbage Sauteed with Chicken is the best thing ever! Every bite is just pure joy! I usually serve this with rice. Well, you should too! Ingredients:
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 ½ pound boneless chicken thighs, cut into small pieces
1 medium cabbage
2 medium carrots (shredded)
1 tablespoon paprika
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 c chicken stock
salt, pepper
1 tablespoon hot sauce optional
chopped fresh parsley to garnish
Directions:
Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the chicken and cook each side for about 5 minutes or until they turn brown.
Slice the cabbage into small pieces.
In the same skillet, add tomato paste and paprika. Sauté for about 5 minutes.
Add the cabbage slices and sauté for another 5 minutes.
Add the chicken stock, shredded carrots, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Cook everything for 40 minutes or until the water has dried up.
Add 1 tbsp of hot sauce and stir until well blended.
Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.
Serve and enjoy!
