This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was a little kid. I remember my grandma used to cook these Buttery Garlic Baked Drumsticks all the time! I was always excited to go to her house for the treats she gave me especially these heavenly treats! Oh, man, you would have loved going to her place. I am so grateful to my grams for sharing this recipe with me because now, I get to share it with you as well. How awesome is that? Ingredients:
½ (4 tablespoons) stick salted butter, melted
4 tablespoons garlic, minced or grated
6 chicken drumsticks
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons dried parsley
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Use paper towels to pat dry the chicken drumsticks.
Add garlic, parsley, and melted butter into a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
Apply cooking spray in a baking pan.
Arrange the chicken drumsticks into the prepared baking pan, then sprinkle onion powder, salt, and pepper on top. Make sure to leave a small space between each chicken drumstick.
Place the baking pan inside the preheated oven and bake the chicken drumsticks for about 35 minutes.
Remove from the oven, then brush the top of each chicken with the butter mixture.
Bake for 8 to 10 more minutes or until done.
Remove the chicken drumsticks from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm with a bowl of salad on the side. Enjoy!
