If you are a busy parent like myself and does not have all the time in the world to cook for your kids, then, try this very hassle-free soup! In about 1 ½ hours, you will have the best soup that your kids will surely love! All you need to do for this recipe is to add all the ingredients in a pot and cook. As easy as that! Feel free to add more ingredients if you wish. If you want it to have a kick, add chilli powder. Oh, man, chilli powder does a lot to this soup. Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 ¾ c mixed frozen vegetables
5 c water
1 (28 ounces) can diced tomatoes
1 c macaroni, uncooked
Directions:
Step 1: Place a large pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 2: Add in the beef and cook until brown.
Step 3: Add in water, tomatoes with its juice, and onion soup mix. Stir until well mixed.
Step 4: Reduce the heat to medium-low and allow the mixture to simmer for about 1 hour.
Step 5: Add in the frozen veggies and macaroni.
Step 6: Turn the heat to medium and cook for another 15 minutes or until done.
Step 7: Ladle into a bowl.
Step 8: Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
Try adding more water if the texture of the soup gets too thick.
