This Cheese Ball is super legit! You will surely love every bite of its rich cheesy flavour. I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Cheese Ball:
1 5.2 ounces Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese
18 ounces brick Cream Cheese at room temperature* (See NOTE)
¼ c sour cream
1 c shredded mozzarella cheese
½ c freshly finely grated Parmesan cheese
2 Roma tomatoes, chopped with seeds and flesh removed
½ c sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil), chopped, rinsed, dried
½ c basil leaves, chopped
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
¼-1/2 tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
¼ tsp salt
⅛ tsp pepper
Panko Sun-Dried Tomato Coating
¾ c panko breadcrumbs
1 tbsp butter
3 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes, diced, rinsed, dried**
3 tbsp basil leaves, chopped
Garnish:
1 Roma tomato, chopped (more or less)
1 Tbsp fresh basil, chiffonade (more or less)
Dippers:
1-2 baguettes sliced into ½ “slices
Olive oil

Directions:
To Make the Cheese Ball:
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add in all the ingredients for the Cheese Ball. Combine using a spatula until well mixed.
Step 2: Transfer the Cheese Balls mixture onto a large plastic wrap and cover it tightly.
Step 3: Form the mixture into a ball shape.
Step 4: Place it inside the fridge for 2 to 24 hours or 1-2 hours in the freezer.
To Make the Panko- Sun-Dried Tomato Coating:
Step 1: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 2: Add in the butter and allow it to melt.
Step 3: Add in the panko, stir, and cook until golden.
Step 4: Remove from the heat and allow it to cool.
Step 5: Add in the basil and sun-dried tomatoes. Stir until well mixed.
To Assemble:
Step 1: Remove the cheese ball from the fridge/freezer and roll it into the panko mixture. Press it until coated completely.
Step 2: Garnish the cheese balls with the sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil.
Step 3: Serve and enjoy!
For the Baguette slices:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 425 degrees F.
Step 2: Line with the baguette slices a large baking sheet.
Step 3: Brush the baguette with a generous amount of olive oil.
Step 4: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 6 to 8 hours or until the edges are golden.
Step 5: Remove from the oven and serve with the Cheese Balls.
Notes:
Make sure not to heat the cream cheese inside the microwave because it will be difficult to shape into a ball.
Make sure to measure the sun-dried tomatoes, then rinse and squeeze them dry before slicing.
This Cheese Ball is also a perfect spread for sandwiches.
