Ingredients:
1 tbsp Cornstarch
1 clove Garlic; crushed
½ c Water
¼ c Balsamic Vinegar
½ c Water
2 tbsp Soy sauce
2 lbs. Pork tenderloin
½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Pepper
½ c Brown sugar
1 tsp ground sage
Directions:
In a small mixing bowl, add garlic, sage, pepper, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
Sprinkle the mixture over the pork tenderloin, then rub it until well coated.
Pour ½ cup of water into the slow cooker, then put the tenderloin in it.
Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook the tenderloin for about 6 to 8 hours on a low setting.
Before the tenderloin is cooked, prepare the glaze.
Add soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, and water into a small pan. Stir until well blended.
Place the pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Simmer the sauce for 4 minutes or until its texture becomes thick. Make sure to stir continuously.
Brush the glaze over the roast about 3 times before the cooking time ends.
Remove from the oven.
Serve the roast with the rest of the glaze. Enjoy!
Note:
Feel free to broil the roast for about 2 minutes until the glaze caramelizes.
