Ingredients:
Glaze:
½ c brown sugar
½ c water
¼ c balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
Pork:
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 ½ tsp ground sage
¾ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
2 (1 ½ lb) pork tenderloins
1 tbsp olive oil, or as needed
Directions:
Step 1: Place a saucepan on the stove, then add water, brown sugar, soy sauce, cornstarch, and balsamic vinegar. Stir until well combined.
Step 2: Turn the heat to medium and cook the mixture for about 5 minutes or until the texture becomes thick.
Step 3: Remove the pan from the heat.
Step 4: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 5: Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking sheet.
Step 6: In a mixing bowl, add garlic, sage, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 7: Coat each pork tenderloin with the mixed seasonings.
Step 8: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 9: Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 10: Add the pork tenderloins into the hot oil and cook each side for about 3 minutes or until they turn brown.
Step 11: Place the browned tenderloins onto a baking sheet.
Step 12: Generously brush the tenderloins with the glaze.
Step 13: Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
Step 14: Open the oven and brush the tenderloins with more glaze. Bake for another 20 minutes or until done.
Step 15: Remove from the oven and allow the tenderloins to cool for at least 10 minutes.
Step 16: Serve and enjoy!
