Yield: 20 Servings
I love this dish so much! My only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese that you are going to add! Just do it and thank me later. Have a wonderful day, friends. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3 c cooked and shredded chicken (375 g)
1 onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 jalapeño, chopped
1 c taco sauce (260 g)
20 taco-size tortillas
3 c shredded cheddar cheese (300 g)
3 c shredded Monterey jack cheese (300 g)
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Step 2: Line with parchment paper a baking sheet.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add the onion, red bell pepper, chicken, taco seasoning, and jalapeno. Stir until well combined.
Step 4: Slice each tortilla into two.
Step 5: Spread 2 tablespoons of cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and chicken mixture in each tortilla.
Step 6: Roll them into cone shapes.
Step 7: Put a glass in the middle of the baking sheet, then arrange the tortilla cones around the glass with the points facing it.
Step 8: Generously sprinkle Monterey Jack cheese on top of each cone.
Step 9: Place the other cones over the first layer and generously sprinkle cheese on top as well.
Step 10: Remove the glass in the middle.
Step 11: Place cones inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted completely.
Step 12: Remove from the oven and transfer them onto a serving plate.
Step 13: Put the dip in the middle where you placed the glass.
Step 14: Garnish it whatever you want.
Step 15: Serve right away. Enjoy!
