Ingredients:
½ pound ground beef
½ small head cabbage, shredded
1 tsp cornstarch
½ c cold water
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp ground black pepper, or to taste
1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
1 pinch salt, to taste
Directions:
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic.
Add the ground beef and cook until brown. Discard any accumulated grease.
Add the cabbage and bell peppers. Sauté until soft.
Add the soy sauce and stir until well mixed.
Add in cornstarch and water mixture, then stir until well mixed. Simmer for a few seconds until the texture of the sauce becomes thick.
Sprinkle salt and pepper for more flavours.
Serve hot and enjoy!
