This homemade meatloaf is super legit! I love it so much that I made it 5 times already this week! You just need to try the recipe and taste it yourself. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef (90% lean)
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp ground paprika
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
⅛ tsp ground black pepper
¼ tsp Kosher salt
1 small onion (finely diced)
1 tbsp garlic (minced)
1 c bread crumbs (plain)
1 c milk
2 Eggs (beaten)
1 c cheddar cheese (shredded)
Meatloaf Glaze:
⅓ cup ketchup
1 tbsp tomato paste
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and apply cooking spray on it.
To Make Meatloaf:
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the meatloaf. Stir until well mixed.
Step 2: Add the egg and milk. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3: Add the cheddar cheese and stir until just combined.
Step 4: Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and form it into a loaf shape.
To Make the Meatloaf Glaze:
Step 1: In a small mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the Glaze. Stir until well mixed.
Step 2: Spread ½ of the glaze all over the meatloaf.
To Bake:
Step 1: Place the meatloaf inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until done.
Step 2: Spread the other half of the glaze on the surface of the meatloaf.
Step 3: Put it back inside the oven and bake for 15 more minutes.
Step 4: Remove the meatloaf from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
Step 5: Slice into 8 even pieces.
Step 6: Serve and enjoy!
