Ingredients:
¼ c butter (half stick)
1 tablespoon lemon juice or 2 tablespoons white wine (optional)
1-pound defrosted large shrimp, peeled and deveined
¼ c olive oil
1 package McCormic® Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi Seasoning Mix
8 ounces linguine or other pasta
Directions:
Place a large pot with salted water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add the pasta and a bit of salt, then cook for a few minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add butter and oil, then allow them to become hot.
Add the shrimp, then sprinkle the seasoning mix on top. Stir and cook the shrimp for about 3 to 4 minutes or until they become pink.
Add lemon juice, then stir until well blended.
Add the cooked pasta into the skillet, then toss everything until well combined.
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over each serving.
