I just made these French Dip Biscuits yesterday and my husband is already asking for them again! He cannot get over these delicious-filled biscuits made with simple ingredients – refrigerated biscuits, stuffed with roast beef, provolone, and horseradish. Before serving, I like to brush these biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle them with some dried parsley. These savory and flaky biscuits are great for tailgating, parties, lunch, or dinner!
This amazing French Dip Sandwich is my weakness. These warm roast beef with tons of melted cheese inside flaky biscuits are seriously delicious! Dunk them in Au jus and you have the best biscuits! Serve these delightful sandwiches for an easy and quick dinner with some fries or chips. Make sure to include this easy recipe in your favorites. I promise these sandwiches will never disappoint!
Ingredients
1 pound thinly sliced deli roast beef
1 (16.3-ounce) can of refrigerated biscuits (8-count)
8 slices provolone cheese
1 (1-ounce) packet of Au Jus Gravy mix
2 tablespoons creamy horseradish sauce or to taste
HOW TO MAKE FRENCH DIP BISCUITS
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F. Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet.
Step 2: Into two layers, separate each biscuit. On each half, spread a layer of horseradish sauce. Then, top with the provolone cheese and roast beef. Place the rest of the biscuit layers on top. To seal, pinch the edges. On the prepared baking sheet, place the biscuits.
Step 3: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 12 to 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
Step 4: In the meantime, ready the Au Jus Gravy mix following the package directions.
Notes:
For this recipe, you can use your preferred cheese such as pepper jack, cheddar, or white cheddar.
If desired, you can brush the baked biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle them with some dried parsley.
