What I love about fruit salad is that it is very versatile. I mean, you can add a lot of fruits and it would still be delicious! The dressing is where all the magic happens! Ingredients:
12 mandarin oranges, divided (for dressing and salad)
2 c strawberries, sliced
1 pineapple, cut into bite-size chunks
5 kiwi, sliced
3 mangoes, cut into bite-size chunks
Citrus Poppy Seed Dressing
1 medium lemon
1 lime
¼ c honey
½ tsp Gourmet Garden Ginger Paste or freshly grated ginger
½ tsp poppy seeds
Directions:
Zest the lime, lemon, and oranges.
Put the juice into a mixing bowl.
Add the ginger, honey, and poppy seeds. Whisk until well mixed.
Place it inside the fridge to chill until ready to use.
Slice the kiwi and strawberries into small cuts.
Slice mango and pineapple into large cuts.
Put the sliced fruits into a large mixing bowl.
Pour the dressing over the fruits and toss until well coated.
Serve cold and enjoy!
