Ingredients:
¼ c white onion
1 Egg
2 pounds of ground beef
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 cloves garlic
⅓ c Italian bread crumbs
SAUCE:
½ c BBQ sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
⅔ c packed brown sugar
¼ c Sriracha
¾ c honey
Directions:
Mince the garlic and roughly chop the onion.
Add egg, bread crumbs, garlic, onion, white onion, ground beef, and red pepper into a mixing bowl. Use your clean hands to mix everything until well combined.
From 1 ½-inch meatball out of the mixture.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add a bit of oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the meatballs into the hot skillet, then cook all sides for a few minutes until they turn brown. Transfer them into a crockpot and arrange them in a single layer.
In a bowl, add BBQ sauce, paprika, brown sugar, sriracha, and honey. Stir everything until well blended.
Pour the sauce on top of the meatballs and make sure to cover them entirely.
Cover and seal the crockpot, then cook the meatballs for about 4 ½ hours on a high setting or until done. Make sure to stir from time to time.
