These are the best chicken wings! Not greasy unlike the fried wings. Extra crispy air fryers chicken wings that are well-seasoned with a hint of garlic and lemon pepper in every bite. The best part is there is no marinating required! You can enjoy the crispiest chicken wings at home in no time!
INGREDIENTS
2 pounds of chicken wings
4 tablespoons melted butter
¼ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s)
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Nonstick cooking spray
Blue cheese dressing, for serving
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
How to make Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Step 1: Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Grease the inside of an air fryer with nonstick cooking spray and place the chicken.
Step 2: Cook for 12 minutes at 380 degrees. Then, flip the wings and continue to cook for 12 minutes more. Then, adjust the temperature to 400 degrees and cook for another 5 minutes or so.
Step 3: In the meantime, place the butter, hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Mix well until blended.
Step 4: Coat the chicken wings with the mixture and serve right away with ranch dressing for dipping or enjoy with blue cheese. Enjoy!
Tips:
For this recipe, you are welcome to use other hot sauces. You can use buffalo sauce to make the chicken wings extra spicy.
Or teriyaki sauce if you want to add texture to the chicken wings.
Many sides pair well with these chicken wings such as buffalo sauce, blue cheese or ranch, and some veggies.
To make the chicken wings extra crispy, make sure to completely pat them dry using paper towels, then season. You can also allow the chicken wings to sit in the fridge for about 1 hour or so before seasoning.
For the best flavors possible, season the chicken wings with a little kosher salt. Or cover them with a generous amount of kosher salt to get them to the bone.
For the dressing, the ideal dressing to use is ranch dressing. But I love to swap it with blue cheese.
