How to make Beef Stir Fry with Noodles
Step 1: In a small mixing bowl, place the soy sauce, broth, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Mix well until combined. In a gallon-sized Ziploc bag, pour half of the mixture. Then, add the sliced beef. Seal the bag, making sure to press as much air as possible. Place in the fridge and marinate the beef for at least 2 hours.
Step 2: In a bowl with the rest of the mixture, add the cornstarch. Stir well until smooth. Tent the bowl and keep it in the fridge until ready to use.
Step 3: Following the package directions cook the linguini noodles.
Step 4: In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the slices of steak, discarding the marinade. Stir-fry the slices of steak until just browned. Set the seared steak aside when done.
Step 5: In the same skillet, add the rest of the oil followed by the peppers, onion, carrots, and broccoli. Saute until the onions are clear and tender. Then, add the cabbage along with the beef and continue to cook until the cabbage is tender.
Step 6: Drain the noodles when done and add to the beef/vegetable mixture. Toss well, adding the reserved sauce mixture. Mix well until the noodles are completely coated. Before serving, garnish with some sesame seeds and/or red pepper flakes, if using. Enjoy right away!
