Ingredients:
Cooking spray
⅓ c brisket rub homemade or store-bought
4 lbs. beef brisket
2 c barbecue sauce homemade or store-bought, divided use
½ c beef broth
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 150 degrees C or 300 degrees F.
Completely coat the meat with rub seasoning.
Apply cooking spray in a baking dish.
Add the beef broth into the prepared baking dish.
Lay the meat over the broth.
Pour 1 cup of barbecue sauce on top of the meat and spread it evenly.
Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 3 ½ hours or until the meat is fork-tender.
Apply cooking spray on a sheet pan.
Transfer the meat onto the prepared sheet pan, then brush the top with the rest of the BBQ sauce.
Broil for about 5 minutes or until the sauce turns into a glaze.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Slice into thin pieces.
Serve with BBQ sauce and enjoy!
