I love this banana bread so much! A big thanks to my dear friend, Mildred, for giving me this awesome recipe! I am not a pastry chef, but I am proud to say that I make the perfect banana bread! Just kidding, but give this one a try, friends. You will surely love it! If you think that this can be better, feel free to add more of your preferred ingredients. I have always wanted to try combining apples and strawberries in one bread! Maybe one of these days, I will try to do it! I hope you all love and appreciate this simple yet delicious treat! Ingredients:
1 cup of sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter or margarine-one stick
3 ripe bananas-very ripe is great
2 Eggs-beaten
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour
½ cup nuts chopped-pecans or walnuts
Directions:
Step 1: In a medium mixing bowl, add the butter, sugar, and salt. Use a beater to mixed all the ingredients.
Step 2: Add 3 mashed bananas and 2 eggs. Stir until well combined.
Step 3: In another mixing bowl, add the flour, baking soda. Stir until well mixed.
Step 4: Transfer the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture. Stir until well blended.
Step 5: Fold in the sliced pecans or walnuts.
Step 6: Transfer the mixture into a greased loaf pan.
Step 7: Place it inside the oven set to 325 degrees and bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle of the cake.
Step 8: Remove from the oven and sprinkle powdered sugar over.
Step 9: Allow the cake to cool at room temperature.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
