Ingredients:
Meatballs I used about 1 ½ ounces homemade meatballs **Meatballs were fully cooked
24 ounces jar marinara sauce I used San Marzano Sauce
½ yellow onion diced
3 cloves garlic crushed
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
¾ # spaghetti noodles
1-2 c grated cheese I used half Colby-jack, half mozzarella
½ c grated parmesan
Directions:
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-low.
Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the onions and sauté until translucent.
Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic.
Add the meatballs, Italian seasoning, and marinara sauce. Stir until well combined.
Simmer everything for 30 minutes over low heat.
Place a large pot with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add the noodles and cook until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Meanwhile, remove the meatballs from the skillet onto a clean plate.
Add the al dente pasta into the sauce and toss until well coated.
Put the meatballs back to the skillet over the noodles.
Sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan cheese on top.
Place it inside the oven and bake for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C or until the cheese has melted completely
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
