This incredible recipe was recommended to me by my good friend, Andrew. I am so glad that I gave it a try because I never would have tasted perfection! Serve these meatballs over pasta and you have yourself a meal to remember! My only advice to you is to add a generous amount of cheese. Just do it and thank me later! Have a wonderful day, friends, and I hope you are all well today. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground chuck or a mix of pork and beef
½ c Italian style bread crumbs
½ c milk
2 Eggs
¼ c grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tablespoon chopped fresh or dry parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh or dry basil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons Olive oil
salt/pepper to taste
(24 – 25 ounces) Favourite Pasta Sauce
1 c Mozzarella cheese
parsley for garnish
Directions:
Add all the ingredients for the meatballs into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
Cover baking with aluminium foil, then apple cooking spray on it.
Form small balls out of the mixture.
Place the meatballs onto the prepared baking sheet. Make sure to leave a space between each meatball.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Place the meatballs inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until done.
Transfer the meatballs into a baking dish.
Add your preferred pasta sauce on top and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Put them back inside the oven and bake for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees F or until the cheese is melted completely.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top.
Serve hot and enjoy!
