Ingredients:
4 cloves of garlic, crushed through a garlic press
½ c mozzarella cheese
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast cutlets
½ c sour cream or Greek yoghurt
8 ounces cream cheese – softened
1 c freshly grated Parmesan cheese – divided into 2 half c
Fresh chopped parsley – optional garnish
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Brush a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
Add sour cream, softened cream cheese, salt, pepper, ½ cup of Parmesan cheese, and garlic into a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
Add the chicken breasts to the prepared baking dish and arrange them in a single layer.
Add the cream cheese on top of the chicken breasts and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese over the chicken.
Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake the chicken breasts for about 25 to 35 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow the Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken to rest for a few minutes at room temperature to incorporate all the flavors.
Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top to garnish.
