Ingredients:
2 packs pre-rolled puff pastry
2 tablespoons English mustard
30 thin slices of pancetta (15 slices split down the middle)
1 whole Camembert
Few sprigs fresh rosemary sprigs
1 garlic clove, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon olive oil
egg wash
Freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
Unroll the sheets of puff pastry.
Place one circle of pastry onto a baking tray.
Put Camembert in the centre of it, then brush pastry mustard around the pastry covering it entirely.
Arrange the pancetta all around the pastry.
Make a hole the same size as the Camembert in the middle of the second pastry, then place it over the first pastry. Seal the sides.
Slice in between each pancetta.
Twist each pancetta strip.
Run a knife over the Camembert making a criss-cross pattern.
Add the garlic and rosemary sprigs over the Camembert, then drizzle with olive oil.
Brush each pancetta strip with the egg wash, then sprinkle black pepper on top.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Place the breadsticks inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven.
Serve hot and enjoy!
