Ingredients:
1 package (14 ounces) of little smoked sausages
1 c brown sugar, packed
1 lb. bacon (not thick-sliced)
Directions:
Cut the bacon pieces into ⅓ slices.
Tightly wrap each smokie with a slice of bacon. Repeat the process with the rest of the ingredients.
Add the wrapped smokies into a 13×9-inch baking dish and arrange them in a single layer.
Sprinkle brown sugar over the smokies. Make sure to have a thin layer on top of the smokies.
Cover the smokies with plastic, then place them in the fridge to chill for about an hour.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Remove the plastic cover, then place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake the Little Smokies Wrapped in Bacon for about 40 to 50 minutes or until they become caramelized and crisp.
Remove them from the oven and allow them to sit for a few minutes at room temperature.
