I love this recipe. This has been one of my go-to and favorites for years! I have tried different baked wings before, and this is different. This has no sauce. The chicken wings are baked in butter, garlic, and herbs until crispy, golden perfection! I like to throw together a big batch of these awesome crispy baked chicken wings and serve them by themselves or with a side of a simple salad, veggies, or mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
½ c. butter
4 lbs chicken wings
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp dried oregano
2 tsp ground paprika
How to make Awesome Crispy Baked Chicken Wings
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. Using aluminum foil, line a shallow baking dish and lightly grease.
Step 2: Cut and discard the tips from the chicken wings. To separate each wing into 2 pieces, cut between the joints.
Step 3: In a small saucepan, place the butter and garlic. Stir and heat over low for about 3 to 5 minutes until the butter has melted and the garlic is aromatic.
Step 4: In a shallow bowl, place the Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
Step 5: In melted butter, dip the chicken wings and coat with the Parmesan cheese mixture. In the prepared baking dish, arrange the chicken wings and drizzle with the rest of the butter.
Step 6: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour or until the skin is browned and the juices run clear.
