Surprise your family with this delicious goulash! All you need is one pot and these ingredients. You will surely have the best dinner! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! My only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese. Just do it and thank me later! Have a great day, friends. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 yellow onion diced
3 cloves garlic minced
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
14.5 ounces can petite diced tomatoes do not drain
1 ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
14.5 ounces can low sodium beef broth
10.75 ounces can tomato soup
1 teaspoon brown sugar
2 cups elbow macaroni
2 bay leaves
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Place a large pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add ground beef, garlic, and onion. Cook for a few minutes until brown and aromatic. Discard excess grease.
Add the sliced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, tomato soup, beef broth, bay leaves, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Cover the pot and simmer the mixture for 20 minutes.
Add the elbow macaroni and stir until just mixed.
Cover the pot again and cook the pasta for about 15 minutes or until al dente.
Discard the bay leaves.
Add shredded cheese on top.
Cover the pot and let the cheese melt. This will take about 5 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to prepare this the night before. Place it inside the oven and bake at 175 degrees C for 30 minutes or until the cheese has melted completely.
Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them inside the fridge. They can last up to 4 days or 3 months inside the freezer.
Reheat the leftovers inside the microwave for about a minute.
Feel free to use your preferred cheese for this recipe.
