This chicken and stuffing bake has been my favorite for years! This amazing dish has layers of seasoned chicken, creamy soup, and stuffing. A delicious combination that will undoubtedly impress everyone!
This chicken and stuffing bake is in my top five favorite dinners! Super comforting, delicious, and incredibly easy to make. I have tried to make different versions of this recipe and this is by far the best version in my opinion. I use cooked chicken along with simple ingredients I have on hand. This recipe saves a lot of time and effort. If desired, you can use homemade condensed soup in place of canned condensed soup.
I love serving this chicken and stuffing bake with a side of corn or broccoli for a simple, delicious dinner. Super good even your picky eaters will love and ask for this chicken and stuffing bake over and over again!
Ingredients
2 cans (10.75 oz., each) of condensed cream of chicken soup
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced into 1” pieces
2 boxes (6 oz. each) Stove Top Chicken Stuffing mix
1 ½ c. chicken broth
¼ c. milk
HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN & STUFFING BAKE
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 375 degrees F. Using a nonstick spray, grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Into 1-inch pieces, slice the chicken breasts. In the bottom of the prepared baking dish, evenly lay the chicken pieces out and season with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Place the condensed soups and milk in a medium bowl. Mix well until blended. Over the chicken pieces, evenly pour the mixture and sprinkle with the dry stuffing mix. Then, pour the chicken broth on top, covering as much of the stuffing mix as possible.
Step 4: Using foil, tent the baking dish. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until the chicken is completely cooked.
Step 5: Take the chicken and stuffing bake out of the oven when done and allow it to stand for about 10 minutes.
Step 6: Serve and enjoy!
