I love these Air Fryer Chicken Wings! Tender, juicy, and packed with amazing flavors. Serve these wings with your favorite dipping sauce or with a side of veggies.
INGREDIENTS
2 pounds of chicken wings
4 tablespoons melted butter
¼ cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s)
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Blue cheese dressing, for serving
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Nonstick cooking spray
How to make Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Step 1: Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Grease the inside of an air fryer with nonstick spray and set it to 380 degrees.
Step 3: Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for about 12 minutes. Then, flip the wings and continue to cook for additional 12 minutes. Adjust the heat to 400 degrees and cook the wings for another 5 minutes.
Step 4: In the meantime, whisk the butter, hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl until well mixed. Once the wings are done, toss them into the mixture until coated.
Step 5: Serve the chicken wings with blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping. Enjoy!
Tips:
For this recipe, you are welcome to use any hot sauce instead of Franks such as buffalo sauce if you prefer the wings spicier. Or teriyaki sauce.
The best side dish for these chicken wings is buffalo sauce, blue cheese or ranch, or veggies. I like to serve these wings with air fryer potatoes.
Make sure to pat the chicken dry before seasoning. Or place the wings in the fridge for an hour or so before seasoning. You could also sprinkle the wings with a bit of kosher salt or cover them entirely with kosher salt.
Ranch dressing is my go-to to use, but blue cheese is also amazing. You can also make herby ranch dressing.
If desired, you can make the wings spicy and sweet.
