Ingredients:
10 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
2 ½ cups flour
½ teaspoon fine sea salt
28 ounces sweetened condensed milk
28 ounces shredded coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 cups bittersweet chocolate baking chunks (loosely placed in cup)
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Line with aluminium foil a 13×9-inch sheet pan, then apply cooking spray on it.
Add the butter and brown sugar into a small mixing bowl. Beat until well blended.
Add salt and flour, then beat until well mixed.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared sheet pan and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 8 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature.
Meanwhile, add the coconut, condensed milk, and vanilla into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
Spread the mixture on top of the cooled crust.
Put it back inside the oven and bake for 25 minutes more or until done.
Melt the chocolate and stir until creamy.
Spread the melted chocolate over the frosting.
Put it inside the fridge to chill for at least 1 hour.
Slice it into 36 equal squares.
