All you need for this recipe are six basic ingredients! This Lemon Pie recipe has always been a part of my family since I was little. This was my grandma’s recipe that she passed on to me. Now, allow me to share it with you as well! You can forget about the other pie recipes because this one is the real deal! It will be the smoothest pie you will ever have! The taste of lemon in each bite is perfectly blended with the rest of the ingredients! Serve this with your favorite cup of coffee, and you have yourself something to remember! This recipe can yield up to 8 servings only so make sure to adjust the ingredients depending on how many people you are serving. I’m sure this will be gone before you know it! Ingredients:
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ¼ c sugar
1 frozen pie shell
1 lemon, sliced into wedges, seeds removed
4 large Eggs
powdered sugar, garnish
½ c (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Add vanilla extract, cracked eggs, sugar, and lemon slices into a blender. Pulse until everything is well blended.
Transfer the lemon filling into the prepared frozen pie shell and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until done.
Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to completely cool at room temperature.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the pie.
Slice the pie into even pieces.
Serve and enjoy!
