The sauce alone of these luscious pork chops is more than enough! Once you get a bite of the meat itself, you will surely be in a state of food coma! Yes, I am not kidding! They are very satisfied that you will crave for them all the time! I usually serve this over fried rice or just plain steamed rice. You can also serve this with mashed potatoes. You won’t be needing gravy because the sauce is already flavorful. Give this one a try and have friends come over. I am 100 per cent certain that they are going to love it. Make sure to adjust the ingredients though if you are having more guests. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
1 tablespoon butter
½ lbs. of centre-cut boneless pork chops, ½-inch thick
garlic powder, or to taste
Directions:
Step 1: In a medium mixing bowl, add the mustard and honey. Stir until well mixed.
Step 2: Place a skillet stove on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Step 3: Add the butter and allow it to melt.
Step 4: Add the pork chops. Sprinkle half the garlic powder on top of each chop. Sear for 3 minutes or until the colour turns brown.
Step 5: Flip the pork chops and sprinkle the remaining garlic powder on the other side. Sear for another 3 minutes or until the colour turns brown as well.
Step 6: Brush both sides of the pork chops with the honey-mustard sauce. Flip them over and cook for another 5 minutes on both sides or until completely cooked. You can also use an instant-read thermometer to check the doneness of the meat. 75 degrees C or 165 degrees F should appear.
Step 7: Remove from the heat and transfer the pork chops on a serving plate.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
