This Brussel sprouts with bacon are what you need today! I can’t give you any reason why you should not give this a try. I know that you will love this. This was the perfect dish that I served for my kids because I was having trouble making them eat vegetables. The first time they tasted this dish, their reaction was golden! There faces lit up and told me that they would want to eat sprouts every day! Kids, huh? Anyway, feel free to add your preferred ingredients. For example, sausage works perfectly well with sprouts. I have tried it once or twice and they both taste extraordinary! You can also sprinkle chili flakes if you want it to have an extra kick. Lastly, I sprinkle fried garlic sometimes and it is amazing! You can eat this bacon and sprouts as is or with steamed rice. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed
¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
4 slices bacon, cut into ½-inch pieces
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Step 2: In a baking dish, arrange the Brussel sprouts in a single layer.
Step 3: Drizzle maple syrup and olive oil over the sprouts. Toss the pan to coat all the sprouts with the sauce.
Step 4: Crumble the bacon and sprinkle it on top of the sprouts. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until the sprouts are caramelized and the bacon is nice and crispy.
Step 6: Remove from the oven and let it sit at room temperature to cool for at least 3 minutes.
Step 7: Serve and enjoy!
