This just might be the easiest recipe of chicken salad I have ever tried. It is also one of my favorites. The flavor and texture of this salad are so good! It is perfect for a sandwich and just by eating it with fresh lettuce or even just eating it as is. I really can think of any reason why you shouldn’t give this recipe a try. You are in for a treat! Last week, I was kind of looking for new and easy recipes that I can try. I am so glad that have found this recipe for chicken salad. I don’t know because I have tried other recipes of chicken salad but this one stands out from the rest. Maybe it’s because I made it myself? No, I think it’s because of the free chicken that I used. So, always make sure to use fresh chicken for your salad because nothing beats a fresh and natural taste of any ingredient. Ingredients:
2 breast half, bone and skin removed (blank)s cooked skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into cubes
3 stalks celery, finely diced
¾ cup chopped pecans
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons minced yellow onion
1 ½ tablespoon sweet pickle relish
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 ½ teaspoons minced fresh dill
1 teaspoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon white sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika
Directions:
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add in the chicken, pecans, mayonnaise, celery, yellow onion, mustard, relish, lemon juice, sugar, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Step 2: Plae the mixture inside the fridge to chill for at least 1 hour.
Step 3: Serve and enjoy!
