My first experience with this fried pickles was when I went to my younger sister’s school affair. Several stalls are selling different kinds of items, both edible and inedible. I was looking through the stalls, and these products were on sale. I stopped by and bought some of it to eat as I waited for my sister. Ingredients:
For Sriracha Mayo:
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sriracha sauce
For Pickle Chips:
1 (16 oz) jar dill pickle chips
(1) egg
2 tbsp milk
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup cornmeal
½ tsp seasoned salt
¼ tsp paprika
¼ tsp garlic powder
⅛ tsp ground black pepper
(1) cooking spray
Directions:
Add and mix mayonnaise and sriracha sauce in a small bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Heat an air fryer for about 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Drain the pickles and dry them on paper towels.
Add and mix egg and milk in a bowl. Mix flour, cornmeal, seasoned salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper together in another bowl.
Dip the pickle chips in egg mixture, and then in flour mixture, coating both sides and lightly pressing flour mixture into chips.
Spray with cooking spray the air fryer basket. Place pickle chips in the basket in a single layer; split into (2) batches if necessary.
Cook for 4 minutes; carefully flip chips. Cook until desired brownness for 4 minutes more. Serve with sriracha mayo.
