Hawaii is always on the list of places you need to visit during summer, the beaches and weather are exceptional. I have never been to Hawaii, but I dream of it, and with summer approaching and Hawaii on my mind, I was inspired to make a Hawaiian recipe in a summer salad. This Auntie Midge’s Old-Fashioned Hawaiian Salad is like a party in your mouth. In a fabulously vivid, sweet, and tangy summer salad, it’s a mix of your favorite island flavors.
I remember when I was a child, my family used to prepare this whenever we have visitors. It’s a quick recipe with outstanding flavors, and this will be a hit anywhere you take it. My mom taught me this recipe because she knew I am not quite a fruit person, I rarely eat fruits, but this is an exception, I just can’t resist the flavors that come out from this salad. My mom’s personality is like this salad, a very bright and carefree person, and it’s one of the things I am thankful for about my mom. Now that I have my own family, I love serving this to them because it is not just delicious but also healthy. You don’t have to worry what on what it’s served during gatherings because this recipe is a great crowd salad. Try this Auntie Midge’s Old-Fashioned Hawaiian Salad, and enjoy this with your family and friends.
