Packed with amazing flavors, dairy-free, and incredibly easy to make. This Italian Sausage Pasta with Broccoli has been one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever tasted! This is recipe is made with just a couple of simple ingredients and ready in thirty minutes. This is perfect if you are looking for easy, quick weeknight dinners. For this recipe, I used farfalle pasta, but you can try making this using penne or bow-tie pasta.

Ingredients
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 lb Italian sausage meat, casings removed, if needed
1 head of broccoli, chopped
3 large garlic cloves, minced
1 lb package of farfalle pasta
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
⅛ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
How to make Italian Sausage Pasta with Broccoli
Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the farfalle in a large pot of salted boiling water. Four minutes before straining, add the broccoli.
Step 2: Into a hot, large, nonstick skillet, add the sausage meat and cook over medium-high heat, breaking the meat into pieces as it cooks until golden browned and caramelized.
Step 3: Into the skillet with the sausage meat, add the olive oil along with the garlic and crushed red pepper. Then, decrease the heat and cook further until the pasta is cooked.
Step 4: Set aside 1 c. of the pasta water and drain the rest.
Step 5: To the skillet, add the broccoli and farfalle along with the pasta water about ¼ cup at a time until the sauce has reached the correct consistency.
Step 6: Before serving, stir in the nutritional yeast.
Step 7: Serve the Italian Sausage Pasta with Broccoli immediately and enjoy!
