This is the perfect white lasagna with layers of Alfredo sauce, browned meat, spinach, and tons of melted cheese. If you want to cut back on carbs, you can swap the noodles with spinach, thus this delicious white keto lasagna! I love pairing this keto lasagna with oven-roasted green beans or toasted cabbage steaks. But this white keto lasagna is great by itself and already a complete entree with both meat and veggies. Make sure to not miss this simple white keto lasagna recipe. This is wonderful if you love white lasagna, but hate carbs!
Ingredients
1 egg
1 tsp dried minced garlic
1.5-pound ground turkey or chicken
2 c. ricotta cheese
1 tsp dried minced onion
12 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and drained well
8 ounces shredded mozzarella
16 ounces Alfredo sauce (jarred or homemade)
½ tsp salt, divided
How to make White Keto Lasagna
Step 1: Cook the meat in a large frying pan until brown, breaking the meat into small pieces as it cooks. Take the pan off the heat and add the Alfredo sauce and half a tsp of salt. Keep this aside.
Step 2: If baking right away, prepare the oven and reheat it to 350 degrees. Or keep the lasagna in the fridge for up to 2 days before baking.
Step 3: Place the ricotta, egg, ½ tsp salt, garlic, and onion in a bowl. Mix well until combined.
Step 4: In the bottom of a large casserole dish, spread half of the meat and top with half of the ricotta followed by half of the spinach. On top, sprinkle half of the mozzarella. Do the same layers again (meat, ricotta, spinach, and finish with the remaining mozzarella).
Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and the top is golden.
