How to make Tender Oven Baked BBQ Ribs That Fall Off the Bone
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 250 degrees F. Using aluminum foil, line a large baking sheet.
Step 2: Place the brown sugar, garlic powder, granulated onion, chili powder, paprika, salt, peppers, and cumin in a medium bowl. Mix well until blended.
Step 3: On both sides, coat the ribs with the spice blend, then brush with olive oil. Onto a baking sheet, place the ribs and tent using aluminum foil. Pop in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes.
Step 4: In the meantime, combine the barbecue sauce, garlic powder, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, and salt until well mixed. Into two bowls, evenly divide the mixture and set aside.
Step 5: Take the ribs out of the oven after 30 minutes. Flip and baste with the juices and ¼ of the barbecue sauce blend. Replace the cover and bake for 30 minutes more. Then, flip the ribs once more, baste them with the pan juices, and bake for another 30 minutes. Using ¼ of the barbecue sauce, baste the ribs. Flip, cover, and cook for 30 minutes more.
Step 6: Take the foil off the ribs and flip the ribs again. Coat the ribs with the pan juices and cook in 10-minute increments until the ribs’ internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F and the ribs fall apart tender.
Step 7: Before serving, cut the ribs apart and enjoy with extra sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
Note:
For basting the ribs, you can use any barbecue sauce.
