This Holiday it’ll be raining treats! I am excited to make another of my favorite cake – Pumpkin Spice Cake Mix. Super easy to make and perfect for the Holidays or get-togethers. Moist cake topped with the most amazing, perfectly sweet, and packed with spice flavor cinnamon cream cheese frosting. This cake will surely be a huge hit!
Ingredients
Cake:
1 (15.25 oz.) package of yellow cake mix with pudding
2 large eggs
1 (15 oz.) can of canned pumpkin puree
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground nutmeg
¼ c. vegetable oil
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Frosting:
½ c. butter – softened
4 (3 oz.) packages of cream cheese, softened
2 c. confectioners’ sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
How to make The Best Pumpkin Spice Cake
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. Ready a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Grease and set aside.
Step 2: To make the cake, place the pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Mix well until blended. In another bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and oil until smooth. Then, fold in the pumpkin mixture along with the vanilla. Into the prepared baking dish, pour the cake batter.
Step 3: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean. Remove from the oven when done and transfer to a wire rack to cool the cake completely.
Step 4: In the meantime, make the frosting. In a medium bowl, place the cream cheese and butter. Beat using an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add the confectioners’ sugar and beat until smooth. Then, mix in the cinnamon and vanilla.
Step 5: Over the cooled cake, spread the frosting.
Step 6: When ready, serve the best pumpkin spice cake. Enjoy!
