Ingredients
¼ c. Butter, melted
32 ounces bag of Frozen Hash Browns, thawed (cubed or shredded)
2 c. Sour Cream, (16 oz.)
2 c. Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided
1 tsp Salt
¼ tsp Black Pepper
1 small Onion, finely chopped
1 can Cream Of Chicken Soup, cream of mushroom soup, cheese soup, or potato soup
How to make Cheesy Hashbrown Potato Casserole
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Ready a 13 x 9-inch pan. Lightly grease and set aside.
Step 2: Place the potatoes, sour cream, onion, cream soup, 1 ½ cups cheese, butter, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well until combined. If needed, season with extra salt and pepper.
Step 3: Into the prepared pan, spread the mixture. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes, uncovered.
Step 4: Take the casserole out of the oven when done and sprinkle the rest of the half-cup cheese. Return to the oven and resume baking for another 10 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
