This Cinnamon Apple Cake is my favorite fall dessert. This cake has my favorite apples and cinnamon combination. Everyone loves a piece or two of this soft and sweet cake packed with fresh, juicy apples. And the sugary cinnamon and sweet milk glaze (optional, but recommended) is an impressive touch. I would not want this cake anyway!
This cake is made with just a couple of pantry staples. You can easily whip this up in under an hour. This cake tastes superb! A winner cake recipe that you should not miss!
INGREDIENTS
2 large eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 large apple, peeled and chopped
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp baking powder
½ c. walnuts, chopped
1 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 c. dark brown sugar
½ c. granulated white sugar
How to make This Cinnamon Apple Cake
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Ready a 9-inch round cake pan. Lightly grease and set aside.
Step 2: Place the eggs and oil in a medium bowl. Beat well until blended. Then, ad the cinnamon along with the white and brown sugars, and vanilla extract. Mix well until incorporated.
Step 3: Next, add the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Whisk well until blended. Add the apples and nuts and gently fold.
Step 4: Into the prepared pan, pour the batter. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
Step 5: Remove from the oven when done and allow the cake to cool for about 15 minutes.
Step 6: Slice the cake and serve. Enjoy!
