This Pecan Pie Bark is an amazing holiday treat or gift that you can easily make in under twenty minutes. Sweet and crunchy with graham cracker base, chopped pecans, and brown sugar. This recipe is excellent for the coming holidays!
Ingredients
1 c. unsalted butter
12 sheets of graham crackers
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 c. pecans, chopped
¼ teaspoon salt
HOW TO MAKE PECAN PIE BARK
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Using a foil greased with vegetable oil, line a 9 x 13-inch baking sheet.
Step 2: Tightly line up the Graham crackers onto the prepared baking dish, breaking the crackers to fill up any gaps.
Step 3: Place the butter, brown sugar, and salt in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring everything to a boil while stirring for about 3 minutes. Next, add the pecans and continue to cook for another 30 seconds. Once done, take the pan off the heat. Once off the heat, whisk in the vanilla extract.
Step 4: Over the Graham crackers, pour the mixture.
Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes.
Step 6: Once done, take the baking dish out of the oven and allow the bark to sit in the pan to cool completely.
Step 7: Break the pecan pie bark and serve. Enjoy!

Variations:
For the base, you can use broken pieces of vanilla wafers or saltine crackers instead of graham crackers. Or if desired, you can use Graham cracker variations such as cinnamon graham crackers or chocolate graham crackers.
For this recipe, you can use any kind of nut like almonds, walnuts, or a combination of your favorite nuts.
You can swap vanilla extract with 1 tbsp of maple syrup.
You can try adding 2 to 3 tbsp of bourbon along with the pecans to make a boozy Pecan Pie Bark.
To make a Chocolate Pecan Pie Bark, toss in and melt 1 c. of chocolate chips with the butter, sugar, and other ingredients.
To Keep the Bark Fresh:
You can store the bark for a week at room temperature. Cover or place the bark in an airtight container.
In an airtight container, store the pecan bark and keep them in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
You can make this bark in advance and freeze it. In a freezer bag separated by parchment paper, place the broken-up pieces of bark and freeze for up to 6 months.
