These Cauliflower Buffalo Wings are amazing, even my pickiest eaters love them! I love serving them freshly baked with vegan ranch dip. These Cauliflower Buffalo Wings are super addicting, we simply cannot resist!
Ingredients
Cauliflower buffalo wings:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small head of cauliflower
¾ c. unsweetened almond or soy milk
2 tsp garlic powder
1 c. panko bread crumbs
2 tsp paprika powder
1 c. Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Wings sauce
¼ c. water
¾ c. all-purpose flour (for a gluten-free version, use chickpea flour)
Vegan ranch dip:
1 tsp dried dill
1 tsp dried parsley
½ c. vegan mayonnaise
How to make Cauliflower Buffalo Wings
Step 1: Into bite-sized florets, cut the cauliflower.
Step 2: Place the all-purpose flour, plant-based milk, water, garlic powder, paprika powder, salt, the black pepper in a large bowl. Mix well until blended.
Step 3: Into the batter, dip the florets until fully coated. Then, roll the florets in the panko breadcrumbs. For a gluten-free version, skip coating the florets in the breadcrumbs.
Step 4: Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet. Lay the florets on the prepared baking sheet. Place in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for about 25 minutes.
Step 5: Whisk Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Wings sauce and 1 tbsp olive oil. Mix well, then pour this on top of the baked cauliflower wings. Make sure to evenly coat the florets.
Step 6: On the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place the coated buffalo wings. Place in the oven and bake for another 20 minutes.
Step 7: To make the vegan ranch sauce, whisk the vegan mayonnaise, dried dill, and parsley until well blended.
Step 8: Remove the Cauliflower Buffalo Wings from the oven and serve them right away with the vegan ranch sauce. If desired, you can garnish them with some chopped green onions and parsley. Enjoy!
