Breakfast Sausage Casserole, I love this recipe! It is easy to make, love that I make it the night before then simply bake in the oven the next morning. I suggest you REALLY drain the sausage by laying it on paper towels before adding to other ingredients. I have made this several times and have always gotten great response. Plan to make it for Christmas Breakfast!
My mom has always made this for us on Christmas morning, and since we only have it once a year it makes it even more good. It is so delicious, and everyone enjoys it! When I double the recipe I use 1 pound regular sausage and 1 pound sage sausage.
This is a great make ahead dish to make for houseguests or brunch parties. It’s quick, full of flavor, and seemingly goof proof.
